Introducing our newest service – AgVenture Australia
At Drover Ag, we are well aware of the labour shortages everyone is facing, its tough times out there on the land. We also know that there are keen, hard working people abroad who are looking for an opportunity for farm work in Australia, they just require us to open the door to our network of trusted Australian agribusiness companies, primary producers, and farmers.
That’s why the team at Drover Ag is excited to launch the AgVenture Australia program, in partnership with trusted international agents, which will supply passionate, ag-focused young people who are willing to work and looking to experience agriculture in Australia.
What is AgVenture Australia?
It’s an initiative to connect Australian farmers with exceptional young people from overseas who wish to pursue a career in agriculture.
We work with our agents to manage the application process, screening every applicant to ensure we present the best to our clients. We then match approved candidates with the right employer for a minimum three-month term.
To be eligible for the program, participants must have a passion for agriculture, be fit and active, have some experience or background in farming and have a desire to learn.
What type of rolls will these workers fill?
Our applicants are keen to work in dairy jobs, cropping jobs including harvest jobs, stationhand jobs and more.
How can you be involved?
The process for employers is easy.
Speak to one of the Drover Ag Recruitment Consultants to find out more. Interested employers will be sent more information and will be required to complete an application process where we will ask some detailed questions on how you can provide and ensure a safe and reputable working environment.
Approved employers will be able to subscribe to receive a regular list of potential candidates, all pre-qualified and background checked through the AgVenture Australia system. You will need to provide an offer including job details, working conditions and inclusions, and you will be able to interview interested candidates via video to make sure you get the right person for the job.
